These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the developer identified on the App Store product page for Phrase Keyboard: KeyBurst (“KeyBurst,” “we,” or “us”). By downloading or using KeyBurst, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What KeyBurst provides
KeyBurst lets you create, organize, and insert reusable text through an iPhone or iPad custom keyboard. The Free version has product limits described in the app. An optional one-time Lifetime Pro purchase unlocks additional capacity and iCloud sync.
2. App license
Subject to these Terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use KeyBurst on Apple devices you own or control.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to bypass the app's technical or purchase controls, except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.
3. Your phrase content
You retain responsibility for the category names, labels, and phrase text you create. You must have the right to use that content and must not use KeyBurst to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive material.
KeyBurst is not a password manager. Do not rely on it to secure passwords, one-time codes, payment card details, or other sensitive credentials. You are responsible for reviewing a phrase before sending or publishing it.
4. Free version and Lifetime Pro
- The Free version currently supports up to 3 categories and 30 phrases.
- Lifetime Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not an auto-renewing subscription.
- Lifetime Pro currently unlocks unlimited categories, unlimited phrases, and iCloud sync.
- Apple displays and processes the price in your App Store storefront.
- Purchase restoration depends on Apple's systems and the Apple account that completed the purchase.
- Apple handles billing issues and refund requests under its policies.
5. Apple and iCloud services
App distribution, in-app purchases, and optional iCloud sync rely on Apple services. Their availability, account requirements, regional access, and service terms are controlled by Apple. We are not responsible for interruptions or account restrictions in third-party services.
6. Availability and changes
We may update KeyBurst to fix errors, improve compatibility, address security issues, or change features. We do not promise that every feature will remain available forever or work on every future device or operating-system version. Material changes to paid benefits will be handled subject to applicable law.
7. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, KeyBurst and this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of every saved phrase. Keep an independent copy of text that is important to you.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, business, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use KeyBurst. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded remains limited only to the extent the law permits.
9. Termination
You may stop using KeyBurst at any time by removing the app and keyboard. We may suspend access to a future online service or discontinue the app if reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and App Store requirements. Sections that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
10. Apple terms
Your use of KeyBurst must also comply with the App Store terms and any Apple standard end-user license agreement that applies to the download. These Terms are between you and the KeyBurst developer, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for providing KeyBurst support.
11. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the developer's jurisdiction, without removing mandatory consumer protections available to you in your place of residence. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when product features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continuing to use KeyBurst after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
