1. Install KeyBurst
Download Phrase Keyboard: KeyBurst from the App Store. Open it once after installation so you can create your phrase library.
2. Save a category and phrase
Add a category
Tap the folder-plus button and choose a clear name such as Work, Support, Sales, or Personal.
Add a phrase
Tap the plus button beside that category. Give the phrase a short label, then enter the complete text you want KeyBurst to insert.
Save it
Your phrase appears in its category and becomes available to the keyboard after setup.
3. Enable Phrase Keyboard
Apple requires you to add every custom keyboard in Settings. Menu labels can vary slightly between iOS versions.
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to General → Keyboard → Keyboards.
- Tap Add New Keyboard.
- Choose Phrase Keyboard.
- Select Phrase Keyboard in your keyboard list and enable Allow Full Access.
Why Full Access is needed
KeyBurst saves phrases in a shared app container. Full Access allows the keyboard extension to read the library created in the main app. iOS also permits network access under this setting, but the KeyBurst keyboard extension does not send your keystrokes or entered text to the developer's servers.
Lifetime Pro iCloud sync is handled by the main KeyBurst app through your Apple iCloud account. See the privacy policy for the complete technical disclosure.
4. Paste from any app
Open a text field
Start a message, email, social reply, support note, or any other field that accepts a custom keyboard.
Switch keyboards
Touch the globe key until Phrase Keyboard appears. You can also touch and hold the globe to choose it from the keyboard list.
Choose and insert
Select a category, then tap the phrase label you want. KeyBurst inserts the full saved text at the cursor.
5. Keep the library useful
Open KeyBurst whenever you want to add, edit, rename, or delete content. Short labels make phrases easier to recognize inside the compact keyboard layout.
- Free supports up to 3 categories and 30 phrases.
- Lifetime Pro unlocks unlimited categories and phrases.
- Lifetime Pro also syncs the phrase library through iCloud.
If phrases do not appear
- Confirm Phrase Keyboard is listed in Settings under Keyboards.
- Confirm Full Access is enabled for Phrase Keyboard.
- Open the main KeyBurst app, verify the phrase is saved, then return to your text field.
- Switch to another keyboard and back to Phrase Keyboard to refresh it.
