This Privacy Policy describes how the developer of Phrase Keyboard: KeyBurst (“KeyBurst,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you use the iPhone or iPad app, its custom keyboard, this website, or support.
Phrase library data
Content you create—such as category names, phrase labels, and saved phrase text—is stored in an Apple App Group container shared by the KeyBurst app and Phrase Keyboard extension on your device. We do not operate a developer database for this phrase content.
You choose what to save. Do not use KeyBurst as a password manager and avoid storing passwords, one-time codes, payment card data, or other sensitive credentials.
Keyboard Full Access
Phrase Keyboard asks you to enable Full Access. This permission lets the keyboard extension read the phrase library created by the main KeyBurst app in their shared App Group container.
Apple's Full Access setting also permits a custom keyboard to use network connections. The KeyBurst keyboard extension does not send your keystrokes, text around the cursor, or entered message content to our servers. It inserts a saved phrase only after you tap it.
Optional iCloud sync
If Lifetime Pro is active, KeyBurst can store and synchronize the phrase library using Apple's iCloud key-value storage associated with your Apple account. The app compares local and iCloud update times and applies the newer copy.
This data is transmitted to and stored by Apple under your Apple account and Apple's privacy terms. We do not receive the contents of your phrase library from iCloud.
Purchases and transaction notifications
Apple processes the optional Lifetime Pro in-app purchase. We do not receive your payment card number or Apple account password.
Apple may send a signed server notification to a Cloudflare-hosted service when a Lifetime Pro purchase occurs. The service verifies the notification and processes transaction metadata such as notification type, environment, product ID, transaction identifiers, purchase date, app bundle ID, price, and currency. It then sends an operational purchase notice to the developer's email provider.
This transaction metadata is used for purchase administration, fraud prevention, and technical support. Phrase content and keyboard input are not part of these purchase notifications. Operational email and platform logs may be retained as reasonably necessary for those purposes and service security.
Support communications
If you email support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you voluntarily provide. We use them to answer the request and troubleshoot the issue. Remove personal or sensitive text from screenshots before sending them.
Website data
This website is served through Cloudflare Workers Static Assets. The initial website has no account system, forms, advertising scripts, or analytics scripts. Cloudflare may process routine request information—such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and security events—to deliver and protect the site under its own service terms.
Service providers
- Apple: App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, and optional iCloud sync.
- Cloudflare: website delivery and App Store server-notification processing.
- Email provider: operational purchase notices and messages you send to support.
Children's privacy
KeyBurst is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
Your choices
- Edit or delete saved phrases and categories in the KeyBurst app.
- Disable Full Access or remove Phrase Keyboard in iOS Settings.
- Choose not to purchase Lifetime Pro or use iCloud sync.
- Contact us about a support message or transaction record associated with a support request.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when KeyBurst features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version.
